Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra – Drive to Phuentsholing

Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu
After breakfast, begin your beautiful drive to Thimphu, which is the capital city of Bhutan. Visit Kharbandi Gompa, a peaceful monastery surrounded by lush greenery. Stop for photos at Taktichu Pass and enjoy panoramic views of the valley. Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check into your hotel.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring Thimphu’s cultural gems. Start at the Memorial Chorten that was built in honor of the third king of Bhutan. Then visit the towering Buddha Dordenma overlooking the valley. Explore the Simply Bhutan Museum to experience local traditions. You can try archery, crafts, and Bhutanese snacks. Later, visit the Takin Sanctuary to see the national animal of Bhutan. End the day at the majestic Tashichho Dzong, home to the King’s office and government.

Day 4: Thimphu – Paro
After breakfast, enjoy a short scenic drive to one of Bhutan’s most beautiful valleys, named Paro. Visit a private temple, Thamchok Lhakhang, which was built by the saint who created the famous iron bridges of Bhutan, and stop at Chuzom, where two rivers meet. In Paro, explore Ta Dzong, a former watchtower turned National Museum, and Rinpung Dzong, a 17th-century fortress lined with prayer wheels. In the evening, stroll through Paro town and taste local favorites like Ema Datshi (chilies with cheese) or freshly steamed momos.

Day 5: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery
After breakfast, get ready for one of the most unforgettable experiences of Bhutan. Enjoy a hike to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on a cliff, this monastery is said to be where Guru Padmasambhava meditated after arriving on the back of a flying tiger. The 5-hour round trek through pine forests and prayer flags is peaceful and rewarding to explore. After your hike, visit a local farmhouse to enjoy a traditional hot stone bath and unwind after a fulfilling day.

Day 6: Paro – Phuentsholing
After breakfast, say goodbye to the peaceful charm of Paro and drive back to Phuentsholing, passing rivers, valleys, and tiny hillside villages. Spend your evening relaxing or exploring the local markets.

Day 7: Phuentsholing – Bagdogra
After breakfast, the time comes to bid adieu to Bhutan. Cross the border while enjoying the drive through the countryside of Bengal and reach the Bagdogra Airport for your return flight.

Cancellation Policy
All the cancellations must be communicated in written.
The token amount is non-refundable in any case.
Cancellations made 15 Days before the travel date will attract cancellation charges.
Cancellation charges will vary from 25% - 50% of the total tour package cost.
100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings cancelled within 15 days of the travel date or No show scenarios.
No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains, Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry tickets, permits, or any other services.
Compasz Tours Private Limited has the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e., 50% of the total Tour Package Cost.
In case clients are suspected of indulging in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, Compasz Tours Private Limited will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
Terms & Conditions
- All our packages are customizable except Fixed Departures.
- Guests are requested to conduct all discussions in written (verbal communications will not be accepted).
- The packages offered by Compasz Tours Private Limited can be customized according to guests’ wishes.
- To ensure smooth services, the Company can also make alterations to the tour.
- The reasons for such changes can be acts of god, technical problems, sudden service issues, government policies, or any other similar situation.
- The package will not be considered booked until we have received the advance amount.
- Travel dates for DND (Date Not Decided) packages should be confirmed within 30 days of the invoice issuance date.
- Delays may lead to certain inconveniences.
- To give better experiences to our guests, our company also rolls out special offers. (This includes upgraded Hotels, Room categories, and Vehicle types.)
- No additional cost will be levied for such upgrades, and this exciting news will be shared with you either before or during the trip.
Important Notes
Weather & Sightseeing
The best time to visit Bhutan is from March to May and September to November to enjoy clear skies and pleasant weather.
Hotel check-in time is usually at 2:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM.
Carry comfortable walking shoes and light warm clothing for colder evenings.
All foreign visitors must carry a valid ID proof for entry at the border.
Keep moderate fitness and comfortable shoes for Tiger’s Nest hike.
Photography is restricted inside some monasteries.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Refund Policy
Refunds will be initiated within 30 working days from the date of cancellation as per the Cancellation & Refund Policy. This means that once you have canceled your booking and the applicable cancellation charges have been determined, the process of refunding the eligible amount will begin. It may take up to 30 working days for the refund to be processed and credited back to the original payment method.
It's essential to keep in mind that the actual time it takes for the refund to reflect in your account can vary depending on your payment provider, bank, or financial institution. Therefore, it's advisable to monitor your account and reach out to 24tripzs.com if you haven't received the refund within the stipulated time frame.
Payment Structure & Bank Details
1. 30 days or more before the date of departure: A non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the total cost is required.
2. 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: A non-refundable booking fee of 75% of the total cost is required.
3. 19 days or less before the date of departure: The full payment of 100% of the total cost is required. Please note that failure to make this payment may result in the cancellation of your booking.
